excuse me, this is going to be LONG
the first thing you need to realize is that starving yourself will never be the answer. I’m convinced you’ll A. will gain all the weight back or B. end up with disturbed eating habits. so please always keep that in mind. but now.. how do you lose weight healthy? first, make sure it doesn’t become an obsession. don’t start counting calories. it’s exhausting anyway and it doesn’t say a thing about the product you’re consuming. as example, nuts (almonds and walnuts are the best!) contain way more calories than some low calorie processed snack, but I can assure you that nuts are a way better choice if you’re losing weight. I believe losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise. you need to eat CLEAN. no starving, no counting calories, but pick all natural products. you also need to find a sport that you enjoy doing. wheter it’s running, football, dancing, fitness or walking is, you need to start moving! try building this up. I mean, start with running or fitness like once a week, and then you’ll go two times a week. and at some point, you need to try to exercise around 5 times a week. so now your diet… WATER WATER WATER. this will become an habit. seriously. start with 6 glasses a day. two before each meal. then try to build it up to 10 glasses a day. I believe in 3 meals a day, but when you are hungry, drink a glass of water and eat a piece of fruit or nuts. for breakfast, eat oatmeal with almond milk, low fat greek yogurt with fruit or a Tone it up protein pancake (google the recipe) BREAKFAST IS GOD. make sure you add fiber in it, it will keep you full longer and is great for losing weight. I also recommend you eat half of a grapefruit a day, this boosts up your metabolism as fuck. then for lunch.. well this really depends on where you’re from. in the netherlands, all people eat is bread… but I prefer salads. just make sure your lunch has a source of protein (eggs, tuna, chicken etc) and all natural products. dinner… I’m a pescotarian and I think cutting meat out of your diet will help. dinner should be 15% protein (meat, fish, soja), 15% carbs (potatoes, pasta) and 30 % vegetables. make sure you only drink water and green tea, eat all natural products, follow the main lines of this plan, get moving and I’ll assure you you’ll see results. maybe it’s fast. maybe not. but don’t give up!
